  	Nekrolog: MARION VIRGINIA DePIERO (nee Marcyan), beloved wife of the late Nicholas G. DePiero, M.D.; loving mother of Nicholas (Young),Roberta (Reef Perkins) and Christopher (Leslie); cherished grandmother of Nina Erney (Mike), Leah, Michael, Jonathan and Quincy Perkins (Lena); great-grandmother of Sienna Perkins; dear daughter of the late Martha and Joseph Marcyan; sister of Laraine Botos (the late Joe) and Rosalyn. Marion wanted to become a nurse and made the decision to leave her family and the one room school in Michigan to attend and graduate high school living with her aunt. She graduated from Loyola University School of Nursing completing her cadet nurses training at St. Bernard's Hospital in Chicago. She worked as part of the "Angels of Mercy" U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps, working in the VA Hospital Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where she met her first husband Steve Chabala. They moved to Cleveland and he died two years later of bone cancer. Marion continued to work in various locations finally becoming the night supervisor at Marymount Hospital where she met Dr. Nicholas DePiero and married in 1953. Marion left her nursing career to become a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother. She was a charter member of Delta Gamma 2478 of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Int. Sorority raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She was a member of the Brecksville Womens Club. She loved to play golf, bowling, and even bridge. The family suggests memorials in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105. Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD.
