Mrs. Tille Fiwek, 83, who lived with her brother, Ignatius Bielecki, 1204 W. Napier, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday in the Carlyle Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born Sept. 14, 1892, in South Bend, she had lived here her lifetime. Her husband, Stanley Fiwek, died Oct. 9, 1961. Also surviving is a nephew, George Schwine Jr. of South Bend.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. Rev. Matthew Sienkiewicz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday. She was a member of the Rosary Sodality at St. Adalbert's Church and Group 793, Court of Mary, Polish Roman Catholic Union. She was also a member of Charter 6, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and Pulaski Post 357, American Legion Auxiliary.
