  He married Katarzyna Dziobek and engaged in orchard farming. Ten children were born of this marriage: Ladislaus, Boleslaus, Julius, Chester, Thaddeus, Joseph, Mary (Kalczynski), Helen (Repczynska Fiwek), Hattie (Hosinski) and Lottie (Hazisnki). The last two girls were born in South Bend and two other children died in childbirth. Andrew arrived in South Bend with his two eldest sons Ladislaus and Boleslaus and when a home was ready for his family, he sent for his wife and other children. His sister, Anna came at the same time. One more trip was made to Europe when his wife returned with three-year old Hattie to dispose of their property in Bialosliw. Andrew worked at the Oliver Chilled Plow Works before he retiured to live with his eldest daughter [Mary] until his death on July 6, 1934.
